MISSION & VISION
Guardian For Heroes champions restoring and renewing combat and disabled veterans physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Guardian For Heroes is a non-profit dedicated to assisting combat and disabled veterans on the restoration, renewal, and life long pursuit of physical and mental health by providing multi-faceted outlets that build strength and confidence and provide training and education to heal seen and unseen wounds.
“It is our turn to serve those who serve us.” Chris Kyle
Guardian For Heroes supports our Combat Veterans from the inside out as they acclimate to civilian life. While we begin with physical needs, we understand the scars from war extend far deeper than that.
Our comprehensive programs provide assistance for body, mind, and soul and include:
Group and spousal support
Proactive experiential therapy
If you or someone you know is a Combat Veteran (or a loved one) struggling with Post Traumatic Stress from combat or overcoming a disability as a result of war, please let us know. We work with Veterans from across the United States. All you need to do is ask.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Guardian for Heroes Foundation would not exist without the support of the donors and volunteers who make it possible for us to fulfill our mission to help Veterans throughout the United States.
If you are interested in helping Guardian for Heroes Foundation, you can do so in one of four ways:
Chris Kyle, our Founder, with his brother Jeff, our Executive Chairman.

Following four tours in Iraq, CPO Chris Kyle, U.S. Navy SEAL, came back home to North Texas with a desire to still serve his country. He encountered a couple of his brothers-in-arms who were having difficulties re-acclimating to civilian life – like going to a gym – because of struggles with Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) from combat deployment. Chris began researching several gyms, exercise facilities, and workout equipment organizations for possible donations, which lead him to a Dallas-based fitness equipment supplier. This chance encounter gave birth to an organization that helps Combat Veterans navigate the physical, mental, and emotional struggles from the inside out.
Chris’s passion was to help Veterans get back to being creative and useful through physical fitness. This passion led to the founding and evolution of the Guardian For Heroes we see today. Guardian For Heroes reaches across the street and across the country to serve, support, and strengthen our Veterans to help them re-acclimate to civilian life in this great country that they fought to protect. We proudly continue this mission in the honor and memory of Chris, our founder, in order to carry on his passion to continue serving our service men and women.
